The
charge is based on the return journey mileage from the passenger's
home (irrespective of whether the passenger returns in the
car) based on 20p a mile

The
Scheme
This
scheme exists to provide transport for hospital and other
health care appointments.
Volunteers
using their own cars and giving their time provide the transport.
It
is only for people who do not qualify for hospital transport,
who cannot drive themselves, and do not have family or friends
who can drive them to their appointment.
Rhayader
and District Community Support has limited funds (from grants
and passenger contributions) to provide this service. There
are charges for this service, please enquire in the office.
Council
concessionary tokens can now be accepted as payment or part
payment.
